Can someone tell me about how much ram WE uses for each additional session? I think an answer may have popped up in another thread a long time ago but I couldn't find it. This forum's search feature leaves something for the better. Are there any other WE ram uses that you can tell us about that a non WE developer may not foresee without having real clients connect in the wild? Thanks. This will depend entirely on your WE app and what it's doing in each session. You just have to test and see what the RAM usage is. Same for CPU and network bandwidth. _________________ Daniel L. Can you and other WE users tell us what some of your sessions require? I realize each session may be different depending on what's going on in the WE app but I'd still like to know a ballpark figure of what can be expected. What!? Almost 5 megabytes per session?????! That's gotta be wrong! VEEEEERY WRONG. I'll be disappointed if it's more than 100k per session for a moderately complex WE app. 100k is a lot of data, about 10 pages of text. Greetings Christian Hi Christian. That's what I'm asking WE users to do. I don't think I can do this since I don't have a WE license. WE licensed users can easily do this with their built WE apps. Greetings Christian Cool, thanks for checking Christian. Now I can do some math and figure out VPS plans and get an idea of requirements and ability. I hope WE becomes more efficient in the future, 200k is a lot of data per session. Greetings Christian Thanks for reminding me about Amazon's hosting, I had totally forgotten about them. I have no idea how their billing works so I'll have to look into it (looks like a lot of reading). I wonder if anyone here uses them and has a WE app up and running we can test? Thanks. Greetings Christian What specs? Linux, mySql + WE app ? How much data transfer for that fee. Perhaps I'm dumb but when I tried their price calculator I clicked the sample web app specs and it came out at around $1,500 a month. After taking my blood pressure meds I immediatelly aborted the idea. I just tried the calculator again and punching in my own data it comes out at $0.15 a month. I can't make sense of that thing. _________________ Future RS guru. Ride the world! We use a Linux VPS A from iPeer.se Specs: http://cdn.ipeerhosting.com/linux-vps.php It's 169.00 SEK/month and that's about 27 USD/month according to Forex.
