Location: San Diego, CA                I have an app that calls SIPS 
(scriptable Image Processing) to convert PNG to GIF format

It works well until you get a certain sizes....  and I can find nothing on the 
internet that indicates there is a limitation.

Once you pass this "limit" PREVIEW says the GIF file is corrupted.

On MY computer it works as long as the # of pixels (Width x Height) is less 
than 1,561,700  
for example 1249x1249 works, 1250 x 1250 does not

On my customers machine... 2900x2900 works 2901x2901 does not

The PNG file that is the source is just fine... tried it with dozens of 
different ones...
