Posts: 123 I am trying to figure out what the issue is -

I have had a CGI app running for months at mydomain.com/cgi-bin/myapp.cgi
I have nothing loaded on the index page at mydomain.com
I wanted to install WordPress for the mydomain.com location and when I
installed WordPress, my cgi app stopped working. After I uninstalled WordPress
my cgi started working again.

Has anyone run into this issue before?

What I want in the end is WordPress working at mydomain.com and my cgi app
working at mydomain.com/cgi-bin/myapp.cgi

Has anyone succeeded at this?

WordPress site that also hosts a WE CGI.

What software stack are you using? (OS, web server, versions, etc.)

Originally I did not. Then I created one and put in some code that I pulled
off the web - but couldn't get it working.

I decided to go down a different path for this particular account.

Blog will be at mydomain.com and App will be at mydomain.net.

This way I won't ever have to worry about conflict. (Pretty much took the
chicken way out).

However, I would be delighted to know how to do it properly - so any additional
info would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure if that is all the info that was requested - I can offer more if there
are specifics that would be interesting to look at.

because I didn't run into this. What web server software/version are you
running? What versions of PHP and Word Press?
