I am building a web application in which I have to import a XML datadump from an ERP system. So an entire XML document has to be imported, after the import I parse the XML document and put the data in a sqlite database. I succeeded in doing this by using XMLdocument, but this is taking a lot of time to upload and parse: only 15 MB takes about 30 minutes. My app freezes during parsing because XML Document is single threaded. I have read some posts that XML Reader is faster, but I cannot find any examples on how to work with the reader. The LR isn't helping me much either.. Is it maybe a better idea to leave XML Document and just import commaseparated textfiles? Or, is XML Reader the way to go? In that case could anyone help me with a simple working example on how to work with the reader? For your information, my app has to import appr. 2400 customers and 77000 invoiceheaders (no lines). thanks in advance, Jacco _________________ Using RS2012R2.1 http://www.slok.com Top Display posts from previous: All posts1 day7 days2 weeks1 month3 months6 months1 year Sort by AuthorPost timeSubject AscendingDescending Page 1 of 1 [ 1 post ] -- Over 1500 classes with 29000 functions in one REALbasic plug-in collection.
