Polling is triggered by means of a timer. The problem I have is: how to check wether any NEW key is pressed? When I poll the keyboard with 200 millisecs, some keys are still depressed by the user and are measured twice. If I check if the key currently depressed is different form the previous (that works, of course) I miss double characters (i.e. "www"). How can I solve this? I tried with several timer settings but 200 is too fast, 350 is to slow, it all depends on the user's typing speed.... I use the Keyboard.AsyncKeyDown() method.
