Don't use Linux so I don't know if it exists there also. Here is the scenario. I have a segment control that is used to control the pages of a page panel. Depending on the record displayed, one of the segments will be disabled or enabled as the case may be. If the segment is disabled and you happen to click on it, nothing happens. That's the way it should be. However, if you then navigate to a record where that segment should be enabled, it not only ENABLES it, it ALSO highlights it. So you are now looking at a segment control with TWO segments highlighted. On a Mac, you never get more than one segment highlighted using the same code base. I have tried in vain to work around this with code to unhighlight the segment that is misbehaving. Another programmer and I worked on this for hours and finally came to the conclusion that it's a big fat bug that can not be worked around. I've resorted to leaving the segment enabled all the time and disabling the fields on the corresponding page panel. Works, just not as elegant. So my questions are as follows: Has anyone else run into this or can you test to see if this is the same behavior that you experience? If I submit this as a bug, should I go to the trouble to create a project to demonstrate the problem? I've noticed that there doesn't seem to be a lot of postings with regards to segment controls, but we like them better than the tabbed page panel from a visual point of view.
