First the specific one: When I have two programs loaded into the IDE and do a search related to one of the programs (by Edit --> Find) , the IDE often (usually?) switches me to the other program! (I can confirm that that is what is happening by clicking "WIndow" on the menu bar and seeing which program has the check mark next to it.) The IDE does do the search as requested,so that's not the problem. The problem is that without warning me thhe IDE has switched me to the other program. I do see a search results on the screen, but it's not the search result screen relating to the program for which I requested it. To see that one, I have to go to "Window" to change the active program back to the one I was working with. When the IDE switches programs on me, it can be a bit disconcerting, because it's not always immediately obvious that that is what happened (especially when program 1 and program 2 are often different versions of the same program). The specific question is this: Have other people experienced the same behavior with the IDE switching without warning the active program at the end of a search? Second, the general one: Should I in such situations notify Real Software of the problem and, if so, how? Is posting a note about it here on the forums sufficient? Or is there a more formal procedure I should follow that would be more helpful?
