I have a data file that is a binary blob. the way it was created was with either glibc or {perl/ruby/python} pack command. Now I can parse the data file(s) via perl's pack/unpack commands. works like a charm. and supposedly ruby & python can do the same with their pack/unpack commands. here is my Q: is there equivalent pack/unpack commands (methods) in Real Basic? or I am going to have to write something? and hopefully if I do have to write something I dont have to write a plugin. thanks sb _________________ ARBP President. visit http://arbpmembers.org Top Display posts from previous: All posts1 day7 days2 weeks1 month3 months6 months1 year Sort by AuthorPost timeSubject AscendingDescending Page 1 of 1 [ 1 post ] -- Over 1500 classes with 29000 functions in one REALbasic plug-in collection.
