I'm having trouble diplaying foreign text. I've got two programs. One of them is able to display foreign text in its text area, the second program cannot. I cannot figure out what I'm doing wrong (yet). In the first program when I write textarea1.text = chrb(209) + chrb(130), the field displays "Ñ". In the second program, it displays as two characters "âÃ" I would appreciate any thoughts you might have. Oh, when I do "msgbox chrb(209) + chrb(130)" I get the desired "Ñ". Thanks for your time What platform ? What font are you using (some fonts dont have glyphs for some characters) And you should note that chrb(209) + chrb(130) only works for some encodings.
