Posts: 11 How would I go about something like this?

If EditField.Text = "*:06" then
  blahblahblah
End If

The asterisk(*) is normally a wildcard character, but if I use it like this I
will just search for an actual "*". My question is how would I go about this,
what is the wildcard character when using EditFields? Or would I just have to
search for the actual value(like "5:06", "6:06")?

":06" within your string use

if instr(1, editfield.text, ":06" > 0 then
  ' do your stuff here
  Enf if

InStr Returns the position of the first occurrence of a string inside another
string. The first character is numbered 1.
