Posts: 51 In no way do I wish to be a nay sayer here but I have
a concern.

I mostly dislike FileMaker and do like developing serious apps with it. On the
other hand I haven't used RS much either - I came from a Windows/Delphi
environment but now am in the Mac world.

My question is simple, if RS is a great product, why is the newest book in
Amazon on the the subject published in 2006 while books about FM are numerous
and current.

I would rather work with RS as my basic cross platform product over FM but I am
concerned about the level of use of the product. Please convince me that RS is
the product to use.

(By the way, I write fairly basic database programs)

thanks,
b
