Posts: 14 I am trying to create a series of three comboboxes,
such that the first combo is used to narrow the possible values in the second
one, the the second one does the same to third one Its basically a tree
implemented using comboboxes). I want to do this as the entire list is several
hundred entries.

Does anyone have a code example of how to implement this such that changing one
combo changes the lists in the other two? Or is there another control
alternative that would be easier to deal with?

Location: South Portland, Maine A PopupMenu might be better
since the user can type anything in the ComboBox field.

But in general, you would use the Change event to know when a selection was
made and then use the selection value to reload the next one.

I would probably subclass PopupMenu and add a Load method that you can override
to populate them. Then you could write code like this:

In PopupMenu1.Change event handler:

PopupMenu2.Load(Me.Text)

PopupMenu2.Change could be similar:

PopupMenu3.Load(Me.Text)
