That wasn't very clear. The question is difficult to explain, so let me give another try from a different direction. There are ways to embed a "secret" message, say, in a .JPG file. The fact that the message is there is not obvious. And the way the file behaves is exactly still the same (i f you load it into a graphics program, for example, you get the same picture); the only difference from the original .JPG file is that the new file is slightly longer (because of the added hidden information). Now, I'm interested in adding information to a .XML Project file (perhaps at the very end, if possible). I don't care whether anything is "secret" or "hidden." What I do want to do is is to put information in the file without in any way changing how the file works. Incidentally, the intended purpose is to embed within the .XML file a list of changes in the file (without the embedding of the information in any way changing the operation of the .XML data: so far as RB is concerned the .XML file IS the .XML information without the embedded additional information). One way that should at least partly work would be to put the additional information in the area for "notes," but people here may have a better suggestion.
