Posts: 177 Dictionary look like a great way to store separate
but related items so I am trying to understand how to use a Dictionary while
attempting to do that with an email message. I have attempted to solve this for
the past several days and the light bulb has simply not turned on

What I would like to do is create a Dictionary of an Email Message and Parse
out MIME parts such as Date, To, From, CC, Bcc and Body

Presently I have a Mail Window with Listbox that receives email messages using
a POP3Socket and I place these items in the ListBox using this code snippet
MessagesList.Cell(MessagesList.LastIndex, 2) = email.FromAddress
MessagesList.Cell(MessagesList.LastIndex, 3) = email.Subject

I am thinking of creating a class that will separate the MIME aspects. If I do
this how do I go about creating a dictionary that can hold those 6 keys (Date,
To, From, CC, Bcc and Body) and then calling this dictionary to receive these
MIME parts when an Email Message is received?

Once that is working how should you access this Dictionary to grab the MIME
pieces of a particular email. At that time is it as simple as
Name_of_Dictionary.key(index)

Thanks
