Now i've created my own class MyListBox and I added new custom event (updatetable). But i don't understand how can i raise that custom event... Anyone can give mi any help about this, please... Thanks a lot Top DaveS Post subject: Re: Listbox custom eventPosted: Thu Mar 28, 2013 8:12 am Joined: Sun Aug 05, 2007 10:46 am Posts: 4707 Location: San Diego, CA Did you create a subclass of Listbox? This is the only way to add custom methods or events _________________ Dave Sisemore MacPro, OSX Lion 10.7.4 RB2012r1 Note : I am not interested in any solutions that involve custom Plug-ins of any kind Top sergiotamborini Post subject: Re: Listbox custom eventPosted: Thu Mar 28, 2013 8:19 am Joined: Tue Feb 06, 2007 6:11 am Posts: 73 Yes, i've done it, but I don't understand how to manage the "modify" event... In some code within you subclassed listbox (where you want the event to be called) simply put the line "MYEVENT" In the IDE where you have dragged an instance of your new listbox... in the EVENTS (where you see MouseDown etc) you will now see "MYEVENT".... click there and add the code the you want to be executed when you fire your new event _________________ Dave Sisemore MacPro, OSX Lion 10.7.4 RB2012r1 Note : I am not interested in any solutions that involve custom Plug-ins of any kind Top Display posts from previous: All posts1 day7 days2 weeks1 month3 months6 months1 year Sort by AuthorPost timeSubject AscendingDescending Page 1 of 1 [ 4 posts ] -- Over 1500 classes with 29000 functions in one REALbasic plug-in collection.
