Location: New York City Is it possible to compile an executable
file that can be run on other machines having the same OS? I have found that
unless I've installed both RB and compiled my program on THAT machine they
won't run. The error says something like: "no program can be found to run this
file".

Location: Guatemala, Central America What version of RS are you
running? Is it a trial version?

Compiled apps are standalone apps which would definitely NOT need RS to be
installed to run on other computers. Are you positive you are compiling and not
only "running" the app from the IDE? Also, what OS? A compiled app is created
as a bundle in OS X and as an .exe under windows. From what you are describing
it seems to me that you are opening your project in other computers where you
have installed RS and NOT compiling your project.

Definitely need more info to offer other suggestions.
