Posts: 9 I'd like to write a desktop application for managing
photos. One idea I had was to have a little fun with Foursquare's API.
Foursquare, like most popular web services, has an API but requires OAUTH
authentication and communicating over SSL (https).

I'd really like my desktop app to run on Mac and Windows.

If this is true, is there a way around this that doesn't violate any license
agreement with Real Software and not make my bank account shrink?

I'm also a Java developer so I could probably do the networking stuff there but
could I call that from RB? And would that be unethical?

Trying to do the right thing here.

Thanks.
