Windows RS works better than built RS for Mac.

I'm programming in Windows 2012v2.1 and it seems to me that the Rs in windows
runs better than MAc.

Incidently, since I'm doing my massive graphic-heavy app on windows I've become
a bit of a zero-flicker expert!

Mac problem: using Speak and noteplayer works fine on Windows - but using
speak on Mac in the same window eliminates the ability of noteplayer to play
notes.
This is a real bummer as the Ear-training suit for my software is using this to
make a truly interactive experience!

Has anybody else had this problem?

Maybe I could run a separate hidden window to run the speak commands? But Mac
"it just works" is getting a bad rep with me
