Posts: 292 Hi there - I found a similar question with an answer
here in the forums which gave this to put in the ceelbackgroundpaint method

If CellSelected(row,column) Then
  g.forecolor = Whatever highlight you want
Else '
  g.forecolor = &cFFFFFF
End if
g.DrawRect 0,0, g.Width, g.height
Return True

However, cellselected isn't a listbox variable...

Have a multicolumned listbox (4x4) and I want to just change the cell
background color that I click on. Right now, if I click on one of those cells,
the whole row goes to dark blue. How do I get rid of that row selection color?

Returning true at the bottom of cellbackgroundpaint gets rid of it
