I basically have a log in mechanism which shows the main page after authentication. Before the new page is shown in the action event of the button, which also initiates the new page to be shown, I store two strings in properties in session. When the new page opens I basically load the values (happens to be the users name) into a label. This never fires. I moved the code to the labels open event but this does not fire either. I added a web button and added code to the action event to show the strings in the label and when clicked it works fine! I added a timer, single shot delayed for 100 ms with the code to put session.firstname and session.lastname in the label and it works fine! Obviously my code to store the variable in session is fine but the open event does not fire. What would cause this? Is it because I am showing a page and it happens too quickly causing the event not to fire. I have seen other threads claiming open event does not fire and feedback cases but they all say fixed. Any help appreciated! _________________ Regards Chris Musty Specialised Technologies Pty Ltd http://www.specialised.net.au ----------------------------------------------- Latest RB Enterprise (12r2) on Win 8 Pro, Ubuntu 12.04 - ahh the pressure I am about to MAC it up also!
