The real question, though, is which operating system are you trying to achieve this for? I did it on Windows and OS X, but not Linux. For Windows I used the Windows Functionality Suite, and for OS X I used Real Capture Canvas. Both, I'm afraid to tell you, are old. The Real Capture Canvas, especially, has quite a bit of deprecated code, so you'll have to sift through it yourself and amend it (not for the faint of heart). I wish I could have given you an easy answer, but I'm afraid camera capturing is not as easy as it intuitively sounds. Web cameras have become a common staple on laptops, but that doesn't mean they're integrated into the OS. You still need to think of them as a 3rd party device. Hope this helps! _________________ Windows 7 Ultimate x64 Windows XP Pro SP3 Ubuntu 11.04 via Virtual Box RS Enterprise 2012r1.1 Programming Tutorials & Free Projects: http://www.JasonTheAdams.com "Christianity has not been tried and found wanting; it has been found difficult and not tried." - G.K.
