know the answer but it's a question that's popped into my head and can not
categorically find the answer in the User Guide.

Is the only way to access a (Windows) Microsoft Access database by way of the
ODBCDatabase class? If not, what alternatives are available?

Windows. There are ADO examples around though I find ADO in Real Studio to be
tedious.

ODBC is the "native" way to do it.

Thanks Bob. Yes, I'm on Windows and my particular project is for Windows but
don't want to be locked into Windows only processes.
