Posts: 14                Does anyone know of a preexisting scheduler control 
that would allow a user to trigger events within your application?

I do not want to rely on Windows Task Scheduler or Scheduled Tasks and it 
should work cross-platform.

Location: Lenexa, KS                I don't know of anything that's cross 
platform.  In one project we did  a combination of Windows Schedule and LaunchD 
on Mac OS X.  It's been a few years but I believe that was what we did.  We had 
a consistent interface across the platforms but underneath it was dependent 
upon the platform OS.
