Posts: 2 I have activated my copy of RealStudio, and am
wondering why I can't view the BETA tab on the downloads page.
I keep getting this message: "Our beta program is open to all users who hold an
active subscription to Real Studio. To enroll in the beta program, visit your
account page.".

Any ideas?

Location: Michigan, USA This is the first time that Real
Software has opted for a closed beta wherein members applied to join the beta.
The reason they did this is because the next release is going to use the new
IDE and they wanted a limited group of serious testers. But usually, yes, all
you have to do is have an active license. I suspect they'll go back to the open
beta system in a release or two.

Thanks.

I guess this pretty much confirms that the IDE is something out of this world;
for them to keep the beta closed and all. Reading your post just gets me even
more excited for this new IDE.
