The Windows version works great using the INNO Setup installer -- it grabs support files and user data files and properly sets them up as expected. OS X? Well, there apparently isn't any installer and I guess the way it has been explained to me is that the app must determine the support files don't exist and install them from the package. Has anyone done this (does RealStudio have any services)? Help! thank you, Ken Top Paul Lefebvre Post subject: Re: Accessing support files in the package first time launchPosted: Thu Apr 25, 2013 10:38 am Site Admin Joined: Fri Sep 30, 2005 9:35 am Posts: 971 Location: South Portland, Maine You can use an installer with OS X, they are just not common. PackageMaker is included with Xcode. I generally prefer IceBerg when I need OS X installers. To extract stuff from the bundle, just use Application.ExecutableFile and the navigate from that to the Resources folder. Once you have the FolderItem for the files, use CopyFile to copy it out to where you want it. _________________ Paul Lefebvre Developer Evangelist Real Software, Inc.
