Perhaps someone here on the web board can lend a hand? -------------- I have a web application deployed as a CGI app. Using the Actual ODBC drivers on my Mac, or a DSN on a Windows PC, I can insert a record in a table on a SQL2005 server using either: - an INSERT SQL statement via SQLExecute, -or- - creating a DatabaseRecord and using the InsertRecord method. Once deployed to my CentOS 6.4 server, only an INSERT SQL statement via SQExecute method successfully creates a new record. The error returned is a pretty generic 102 syntax error, which points to a syntax error 'near' the table name where I'm attempting to insert the new record. My ODBC config on the server is using a FreeTDS driver, and I've tried both UnixODBC and iODBC as driver manager. Any ideas? I don't know whether FreeTDS has any tracing abilities but that would be my first port of call. Failing a trace within the driver, create a remote connection, fire up Wireshark and sniff the SQL as it is sent across the network. _________________ Yes it's me in the avatar Top Display posts from previous: All posts1 day7 days2 weeks1 month3 months6 months1 year Sort by AuthorPost timeSubject AscendingDescending Page 1 of 1 [ 2 posts ] -- Over 1500 classes with 29000 functions in one REALbasic plug-in collection.
