I navigate to my application but it isn't highlightable. So two questions: 1) why isn't my application a recommended application for this type? 2) App.OpenDocument is called if the user has double-clicked on a document whose creator matches the applicationâs creator, but the window that has the method to read the data isn't know to App. _________________ If at first you don't succeed... In the project settings, assign an application identifier eg com.mycompany.productname in AcceptfileTypes, add the file type you want. Set the Role to be 'editor' On windows, use the installer to assign the type to your app. In the OpenDocument event of the app, you are passed an item as a folder item. This is the file you need to open.
