Posts: 4 Right now I can Drag and Drop a file into my app and I
can receive the DropObject event. That rocks.

Is there a way to paste a FolderItem, like an image or any other file for that
matter, and then receive an event?

Also, is there a way to drag an image from Safari into a window as if it was a
FolderItem? That doesn't behave like a dragged FolderItem from what I can tell.

I'm ok with taking the pasted item or dragged image and transforming it into a
FolderItem, but I'm just not sure how to find out what they pasted or dragged.

Thanks in advance!

Location: Tennessee, USA You should look at the "Drag and Drop"
section of the Users Guide. Particularly the section that tells how to
determine the type of drop object received when you can accept more than one
type.

Posts: 4 Thanks! I read that and I didn't see the difference
between AcceptTextDrop, AcceptPictureDrop, and AcceptFileDrop (Type).

It's clear now!

Thank you.
