Could someone please advise me if this is still possible, and if so how. Thank you all, in advance. _________________ RealStudio Professional Edition 2012 r2 Developing on OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion) Deploying on Windows XP / Vista / 7 / 8 Top Bob Keeney Post subject: Re: Export project code?Posted: Thu May 09, 2013 8:33 am Joined: Fri Sep 30, 2005 11:48 am Posts: 3535 Location: Lenexa, KS File->Save As. Then select version control project as the Format. _________________ Bob K. Thanks. _________________ RealStudio Professional Edition 2012 r2 Developing on OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion) Deploying on Windows XP / Vista / 7 / 8 Top Bob Keeney Post subject: Re: Export project code?Posted: Thu May 09, 2013 1:18 pm Joined: Fri Sep 30, 2005 11:48 am Posts: 3535 Location: Lenexa, KS Each object has it's own text file. In my not so humble opinion you should be using that format all the time. But that's a different story. The only other way to do it would be to print to PDF. On Mac OS X that's easy but there are ways to do that on Windows/Linux too. _________________ Bob K. What did you mean about using that format all the time? Could you expand, as I am always interested in learning from much more experienced people. _________________ RealStudio Professional Edition 2012 r2 Developing on OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion) Deploying on Windows XP / Vista / 7 / 8 Top timehacker11 Post subject: Re: Export project code?Posted: Sat May 11, 2013 12:53 am Joined: Sat Apr 20, 2013 7:41 pm Posts: 31 Well, it IS possible. Just save it as an XML Project. Studio will export a single XML file containing all code. I know it isn't an ideal solution, but that's what ya get with RS. I only wish Real Studio / Xojo was more "professional" with these sections of the IDE. For example, in every other IDE available, each form gets it's own code file where all actions and events are stored. The same is for when you create a class file. There's a whole code file ready for your code. None of this adding methods, properties, events etc. Top Display posts from previous: All posts1 day7 days2 weeks1 month3 months6 months1 year Sort by AuthorPost timeSubject AscendingDescending Page 1 of 1 [ 6 posts ] -- Over 1500 classes with 29000 functions in one REALbasic plug-in collection.
