I remember seeing on these forums, a post about exporting a project's code to a
text file somehow, but I have searched the forums and cant seem to find it.

Could someone please advise me if this is still possible, and if so how.

Thank you all, in advance.

Location: London, England Thanks, but that wasn't what I was
expecting
I did as you advised, and my desktop was bombarded with about 40 different
files

What I meant was is it possible to have ONE text file with ALL of my project's
code inside.

Thanks.

Location: Lenexa, KS Each object has it's own text file. In my
not so humble opinion you should be using that format all the time. But that's
a different story.

The only other way to do it would be to print to PDF. On Mac OS X that's easy
but there are ways to do that on Windows/Linux too.

Location: London, England Thank you very much Bob,
print as Pdf worked fine (although the pdf was 380 pages long) !

What did you mean about using that format all the time? Could you expand, as I
am always interested in learning from much more experienced people.

Posts: 31 Well, it IS possible. Just save it as an XML Project.
Studio will export a single XML file containing all code. I know it isn't an
ideal solution, but that's what ya get with RS.

I only wish Real Studio / Xojo was more "professional" with these sections of
the IDE. For example, in every other IDE available, each form gets it's own
code file where all actions and events are stored. The same is for when you
create a class file. There's a whole code file ready for your code. None of
this adding methods, properties, events etc.
