I know the function will return a value to the left of what called it and I am good with using this for boolean based functions pretty well. My question is when do you decide to have a SUB that would normally "execute tasks" after you call it vs. making it a function to return it's value back. I hope I am making this out to be something bigger, but I am very focused on trying to write code that is as easy as possible to maintain and/or follow Thank you in advance Mike _________________ Mike Cotrone - CCIE #8411 R&S, CCIE #8411 Voice Chief Technology Officer Onepath Systems, LLC Real Studio 2012 R2.1 Enterprise, Mac OS, Windows, Ubuntu Linux Top Display posts from previous: All posts1 day7 days2 weeks1 month3 months6 months1 year Sort by AuthorPost timeSubject AscendingDescending Page 1 of 1 [ 1 post ] -- Over 1500 classes with 29000 functions in one REALbasic plug-in collection.
