I could no longer code sign my app in terminal!! It said it was defective. I booted from my backup drive using Lion 10.7.5. Code signing now works ok. If you already have Xcode installed, App Wrapper can automatically move it to the right place for you. I forgot to add, that you can test this by downloading the FREE trial of App Wrapper as it has code to check for codesign_allocate and if you have Xcode installed on your 10.8 partition, it can install it into the correct place.
