The file sharing network is accessed on mac and work nicely. When I start the application, it wont run, because the application cannot access the database path. any helps.? thanks Regards, Rivo Top Tom Baumgartner Post subject: Re: connecting to a database on macPosted: Tue May 21, 2013 4:47 am Joined: Tue May 01, 2007 7:04 am Posts: 66 Location: Lanark, Ontario There may be more than one problem but start by formatting the path in the Mac fashion with forward slashes. Also, I have found sometimes recently you have to specify the type of path. f=getfolderitem("/server/xserver/db",FolderItem.PathTypeShell).child("test.db") _________________ Regards, Tom Baumgartner RS 2012r2 Pro on Intel Core i5 iMac with Mac OS X 10.8.2 Top Display posts from previous: All posts1 day7 days2 weeks1 month3 months6 months1 year Sort by AuthorPost timeSubject AscendingDescending Page 1 of 1 [ 2 posts ] -- Over 1500 classes with 29000 functions in one REALbasic plug-in collection.
