When this happens within a second or so the launching program minimizes itself and shows up in the bottom bar as grayed-out. The Mac then switches to Finder? (this is what shows up in the top-bar). There seems to be no way within the program for me to now restore the application (or prevent it from minimizing in the first place). I've tried Window.Restore, Window.Show, Window.Visible, Window.Refresh. I've tried all of these in a timer I fire off as well just in case that worked better. Nothing works. The application is still running and doing what it otherwise does but there's no good way to get the window to show other than clicking on it which is completely sub-optimal. So two questions. #1. Is there a way to launch another application without minimizing the launching application? This would obviate the second problem entirely. #2. How do I get my application to self-restore? Any and all help would be appreciated.
