Ok. I didn't interpret that as giving users access to the design UI at all. I have never advocated that and I can't think of any customer that allowed anyone other than someone that had some level of expertise in the design UI, in which case their access to the full data dictionary wouldn't be a problem. I don't see a problem with your or Larry's suggestions at all, I just didn't consider that users would access the db in any fashion except through an application.
