Joel, 

1. Yes, you can change the column headings. Highlight the dbGrid and right
click or press [F11] to get to the properties. Open the Columns tab, highlight
the column in the list and click the little icon in the extreme right bottom of
the columns tab - you can then change the characteristics of the column in the
grid. 

2. While in the above, click a column and use the arrows at the bottom to move
the column up or down as needed.
