Maybe I'm the last one to know about this but, just in case anybody else on the list didn't know, I can confirm that this does work.

RBG7 R:DCC Staff ================ Exit from R:Base It would be nice to have a properly "silent" exit from R:Base. For example: you might have a nice menu or form option that has "exit" as a choice and expect to see nothing more on the screen but, at the moment, R:Base seems to need to have an RSHOW command prior to the EXIT command which means that the user sees, in my case, the R:> screen before R:Base closes. This visible screen can - sometimes - last for 10-15 seconds before it clears and looks very unprofessional. To me, the need for the RSHOW is unnecessary and I cannot think of a reason why anyone would want to see anything on the screen as R:Base closes that could not be programmed prior to the exit command being issued. Thanks for "listening" Alastair.
