I have a form with 3 combo boxes.
The second combo box is based on the first.
The third is based on the second.

Everything works the first time though. But if I
change the selection of the first combo box the
second and third hold on to their values.

I have tried this with ENTER USING, and EDIT USING,
Variable combo boxes and DB combo boxes and I get
the same results.

James,
R:Docs is the PERFECT example of such application to demonstrate the use of dynamic
combo-boxes dependent on the values defined.
Example:
RBG7 > R:Docs > Main Menu > Build Syntax for PROPERTY Command
Select Category (combo-box)
Select Control (combo-box) dependent on the value from Category
Select Property (combo-box) dependent on the value from Category and Control
Select Value (combo-box) dependent on the value from Category, Control and Property
Notice that the syntax is build dynamically!
In your case, you need to make sure that you define a Variable Lookup ComboBox
to return Key Field into a variable. Set the WHERE Clause for Lookup Settings
accordingly and then:
RECALC VARIABLES
PROPERTY <ComboBox_ComponnetID> REFRESHLIST 'TRUE'
RETURN
That's all there is to it!
