I agree completely. That's why I'm hoping for a native implementation of the feature, using a LockRowHeight property. If the component "did" this itself -- no delay in screen updating, and no need to write the EEP code!
I like the idea of native LockRowHeight property (E#71616).
Looks like the great feature for 7.5.
