I've just encountered the
same error on starting up RBase 7 that I'd had in the past.
Prior to launching Rbase
(which does launch and seems to work) there's an error message
"Invalid
RBEngine.CFG command MENU BLACK ON
GRAY"
In the past, when this had
occurred, it was because there was a duplicate RBENGINE file floating
around.....so that's the first thing I checked. There weren't any extras
to delete (except in the recycle bin -- an I even deleted
that)
This occurred after I
changed the settings. I was unloading tables to move them to a new
database, and changed the NULL from blank (which I normally use because my
clients hate to see the -0- on forms and reports) to -0- for unloading the
data.
That process went
well. I then exited Rbase and went back in and got the error message noted
above.
I've rechecked for extra
CFG and RBENGINE files....there aren't any
I have even re-downloaded
and installed the Build 76 version of the software
Don't know what else to
check.
