In my case, the lookup depends on two columns (ControlNum and SubControlNum) and doing with EEPs would be hairy. Instead, I'm getting the control info in dialogs, doing the lookups, and inserting the rows with the lookup up values before letting the user edit. If they change the control info, they'll just have to change the customer code as well. -- Larry
