Yes, I realise that you can't see my database but which of these is correct:
01/01/1900
'01/01/1900'
(01/01/1900)
(CTXT(01/01/1900))
(CTXT('01/01/1900'))
some other method...
The day and month should be irrelevant and I have yyyy for the format for
the year.
What is the correct value to type into the default box to get the first day
of the last century?
Once the two columns that I need to set to that as default are working
correctly then I can look at the expression again. I'm now suspecting that
the original question should have been about these rather than the
expression.
Other default values that are TEXT are working but the dates are not yet...
It's a small table so I can easily rebuild/restore/reload - whatever is
needed to solve the problem.
