Doug I cant answer your first issue on sorting, my guess is however that in RBASE.CFG or RBENGINE.CFG you can define how - should be sorted against a number. Then you can reload the database with user case. That�s how I got my sorting of national characters correct. But I can appreciate your second issue There is lot of knowledge on this list, but it is not easily searchable. A searchable knowledgebase would be fantastic!!

A matter of curiosity on another item: the databrowser crosstab and report crosstabs sort differently. Several of the subdivisions in my database are identified by a number and are stored as text in the Subdivision column. The databrowser crosstab lists them as: 1 1-80 14 2 2-80 3 4 The printed report lists them as: 1 14 1-80 2 2-80 3 4 Is this expected? Doesn't matter to me (yet, anyway). I'm just curious. set fun on OK, one more: We all appreciate the incredible amount of time you spend answering our questions. Some of those questions repeat over a period of time. I've saved over 500 emails from the RB7 list in which I can sometimes find (after enough sorting and reading) an answer to a question I have before posting it. In the interest of efficiency and to save you, and us, some time and effort, is there a keyword-searchable database (knowledge-base?) of info that would include summaries of email threads, citations of FTE articles and online documentation, and other documentation? I realize it could be a significant undertaking, but a lot has already been done, e.g. your answer below to my email and the existing online documentation.
