Tom, AVG, MIN, MAX, SUM, and COUNT are standard SQL syntax. The fully spelled out words are not.
The MINIMIZE and MAXIMIZE keywords are not in the reserved word list in R:Style because of the SELECT syntax, but because of separate R:BASE commands that control the size of the R> prompt window. R:Style also has configuration settings and files that enable you to specify words (like column names, database names, and new keywords) that it should NOT expand to full spelling.
