Hi All, I am back to work after a long trip around the country and needing help already. It old version I was able to use CONN <otherdb> from within my program. Now in 7.1, I am getting the following error message: Illegal command in Entry/Exit Procedure.
Two databases reside in the same directory. The main database is almost always in use. However sometimes the user needs to look into the secondary database for archived data. I think using SATTACH or SCONNECT would be better than disconnecting from the main database in some cases, but I am not getting these commands to work. However, there are cases where I need to be connected to the secondary database only, such as to load in a new form. How do I now get into that secondary database from within my codelocked application? Thanks for help. Sharon Lima
