This is kind of what I was talking about in earlier posts.  A lot of users may take more than 3 seconds to get several characters typed in some cases - especially if they are non-typists or unsure of the spelling of something.   I know this happens to me once in awhile.  Now that you let the cat out of the bag that there is a "3 second rule", is it possible to have the set walkmenu command enhanced to set a specific number of seconds to clear the buffer?
I'm sure if enough people want this, it would be a valuable feature.  I do recall the miracles you performed on the "set timeout" command, and it has made my life a whole lot easier.  Is it worth an enhancement request?  Any other opinions, list????

FYI, the WalkMenu buffer is automatically cleared after 3 seconds!
