Razzak, I re-reviewed the "SubTotalsAndTotals" report in ConComp database.
I believe I am complying with the methods that you used.  I mainly use
Dbcalc in my totals.
I tried setting   vTEST = sum of Freight in TransMaster whe CustID =
.vCustID   and got the same error.  I have a work around for by revising my
view to include the tprice col.

expression in Report Designer, take a look at
"SubTotalsAndTotals" report in ConComp database.
