What is the meaning of this error message?

["Value" is not a valid floating point value]

I placed into a table a .tiff file which is a multiple page file and I verified this through the Window Picture and Fax Viewer.

However, when I use the code below I get the error above.

Also, when I attempt to Write this file into a variable(Varcha) and then to a file that file does not contain the data.

This also happens when I print to a .tiff file. I get an error when I attempt to view that file.

Here's how:

01. To print a tiff file (stored as VARBIT) in R:BASE 7.1,

use "DB Image" control and adjust the image properties

accordingly.

02. To print a tiff file as variable (outside image) in

R:BASE 7.1, use "Variable Image" control and adjust

the variable image properties accordingly.

03. To PRINT the entire report as Single-Page TIFF file,

use OPTION TIFF with MULTIPAGE OFF.

Example:

PRINT reportname WHERE whereclause ORDER BY orderbyclause +

OPTION TIFF +

|SHOW_CANCEL_DIALOG value +

|FILENAME filespec +

|PIXELFORMAT value +

|BACKGROUND_COLOR value +

|BACKGROUND_FILE value +

|MULTIPAGE OFF +
