It is a pain, but upgraded Operating system will give you nothing but problem in the long run. I belive your problem can be handled faster with than my suggestion, but still a clean XP installation is preferable. Gunnar Ekblad It was installed on Win98. upgraded to XP. Rbase didn't work. XP didn't show it in Add/Remove programs, so he deleted it and tried to re-install. Upon installation (as soon as it starts) it says: Must install other version first. How do we get arounf this?
