Subject: [RBG7-L] - Re: Syntax for Choose
using View
Jan, what you need to do is to define the names. You are probably
defining your view along the lines of
CREATE VIEW <viewname> AS +
SELECT <collist> FROM <tablelist> WHERE
<conditions>
You need to do it like this:
CREATE VIEW <viewname> (<collist>) AS +
SELECT <collist> FROM <tablelist> WHERE
<conditions>
By putting in the list of names to appear in the view, the view looks
more like a table.

When
you create a view you get columns
like
t10.company
t5.serial
t16.make
Do you need to include
the table numbers in a choose statement or are the
column names
sufficient?
