Here are a few tips that might help:

01. Use DB Calc when appropriate.

    If the report includes sub-totals, totals or report
    totals, and if those values are not being used
    anywhere else for other calculations, then take
    advantage of DB Calc controls.

    For sample reports:

    Database: ConComp
    Reports: PageStyleReport
             ProdViewReport
             SalesSumAndSubTot
             SubTotalsAndTotals
             TransDetailTotals
             YTDInvoiceTotal

02. Use Built-in System Variables when appropriate.

    Convert all System Date, System Time, Page Numbers
    and Line Counts defined as expressions to System
    Variables.

03. Use Report Pass Settings accordingly.
